Admissions still open at Lady Willingdon Govt.Model Higher Secondary School, Triplicane

 Lady Willingdon Government Model Higher Secondary School on Dr. Besant Road, Triplicane, is one of the oldest schools in Chennai. 


Currently, admission is open for 11th and 12th std. classes by you must apply online.


     From class 1 to 5,  co-education is followed and for classes 6 to 12 upwards, classes are only for girls.

This centre in Kannagi Nagar offers 'skills' courses for women. Free.

  Muthal Thalaimurai Learning Center is in Kannagi Nagar, Okkiyam Thuraipakkam.   It was opened by V. Iraianbu, chief secretary of Tamil Nadu.   It has been opened for the sake of women's empowerment.  Here, driving classes, beauty-care training and sari embroidery classes are held. There are no fees.   Students are from the age of 18 to 37 years can sign up.   The classes are held in the morning shift and in the evening shift. 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and 1.30 to 5.30 p.m. - Monday to Saturday.  Physically disabled students can also register here.   - By Sneha E.
