Section of busy Lloyds Road in Triplicane closed for work

 



A section of the busy Lloyds Road in Triplicane has been blocked from Friday evening. 

Workers here said that drain repair work is on.


The pipeline under the main road is old so the workers demolished the leaky portion - this is a Metrowater approved civic work. 


 Buses and cars are unable to move freely in the road.

Kumbhabhishekam of Kottur temple in January 2024.

  The kumbhabhishekam of Kottur Prasana Venkatesh Perumal Temple is going to be held on January 2024. It will be on for three days. The temple staff say that this temple is over 1000 years old. They said that this place called Kottur was once called as Kottu idai konda ooru. During the repair work in the temple, people can come and worship the god in balalayam.   The chief executive of the temple is Narayani.
