Akka kadai snacks stall in Kilpauk

            Kesial runs Akka Kadai on Ormes Road in Kilpauk. 


It is a simple tiffin push-cart stall parked on the roadside, which offers home-made food but only after dusk. 


People working as labourers in that area find this the best place to eat.


This stall is open at 7pm and closes at 11pm. 


Kesial says her daughter Hepsi died during the corona period.

Kumbhabhishekam of Kottur temple in January 2024.

  The kumbhabhishekam of Kottur Prasana Venkatesh Perumal Temple is going to be held on January 2024. It will be on for three days. The temple staff say that this temple is over 1000 years old. They said that this place called Kottur was once called as Kottu idai konda ooru. During the repair work in the temple, people can come and worship the god in balalayam.   The chief executive of the temple is Narayani.
