Home for Homeless; Royapettah




Annai Anbalayaa Trust runs a Home for homeless people on TTK Road, Royapettah. This is under Greater Chennai Corporation.


This is a temporary stay space - people can stay here for six months only.  


Accommodation is only for 50 members. 


If you see homeless people living on the road, inform the toll-free number 1913. The team will rescue them.

This store is busy as school re-opening draws near

  Blahi Stationary Store on Lloyds Road has been a busy place as students begin to go back to school. Shop owner K.M. Mohammad Farooq said that there has been a high demand for items like lunch bag (Rs.49), school bags sold at Rs.300 and water bottles sold at Rs.30.    This store also sells long notebooks, record notes and charts.  For school students, products like wrapping paper, pens, pencils and ruled notebooks are on sale.
