New laundry and dry-cleaner in Purusaiwalkam

  



‘Tumbledry' is a new laundry and dry-cleaner located in Prince Towers at Purasaiwalkam High Road in Kilpauk.


It is managed by Hariharan.

     

Hariharan states that they do dry cleaning of silk sarees, woollen clothes, leather bags, shoes, curtains and carpets. 

     

They offer free home pickup and delivery service too.

Govt.-run primary school in Triplicane open for admission

  Admission is open now at the Orunginaindha Kulaindhaigal Maiyam located on Venkatrangam Street,  Triplicane.   This school is managed by the state government from 2010. Shakila is in-charge of this school. She said that admissions go on till September when Vijayathasami is celebrated. The teachers go out into the area voluntarily and talk to parents of young children and try and get them admitted to this school. Pavement hawker sells brooms; on Dr. Alagappa Road

  On the pavement of Dr. Alagappa Road, near C.S.I Wesley Church, Egmore, there is a woman who sells broomsticks. Her name is Padmavathi. She says she has been doing this for 4 years.
