Pradosham held at Sri Theerthapaleeswarar Temple






Pradosham was held at Sri Theerthapaleeswarar Temple in Triplicane on June 1 evening. A large number of people took part in it.


This pradosham for lord Shiva was held between 4.30pm and 6.30pm.


This temple is on Dr. Natesan Road.

  The kumbhabhishekam of Kottur Prasana Venkatesh Perumal Temple is going to be held on January 2024. It will be on for three days. The temple staff say that this temple is over 1000 years old. They said that this place called Kottur was once called as Kottu idai konda ooru. During the repair work in the temple, people can come and worship the god in balalayam.   The chief executive of the temple is Narayani.
