Streetside tiffin shop caters to office workers in this Egmore zone

 



Preethi Catering Service is located in Dr Santhosh Nagar, Egmore.


The owner of the shop is Dhanasekar K. His wife Jamuna.D also helps.


In the morning, you get idli, pongal, poori and dosa and vada.


In the afternoon, there is white rice, biryani and brinji.


Many office-workers are regular customers here. 


Dhanasekar is the main cook and he is a specialist in making sweets because he worked in Archana Sweets in Cuddalore. He takes orders.

Kumbhabhishekam of Kottur temple in January 2024.

  The kumbhabhishekam of Kottur Prasana Venkatesh Perumal Temple is going to be held on January 2024. It will be on for three days. The temple staff say that this temple is over 1000 years old. They said that this place called Kottur was once called as Kottu idai konda ooru. During the repair work in the temple, people can come and worship the god in balalayam.   The chief executive of the temple is Narayani.
