Thameen's shop in Triplicane sells bags, repairs them




If you need to repair your travel or want to buy hand bag, you can go to Thameem’s shop in Triplicane.


It is called Nila Lining Works and is on Irusappan Street in Krishnampet, Triplicane.  


He says he has been in this business for 40 years. But online shopping has affected his business.


He charges Rs. 700 to Rs 1000 for a quality bag and he also repairs damaged bags.

He can also replace zips that do not work.

Kumbhabhishekam of Kottur temple in January 2024.

  The kumbhabhishekam of Kottur Prasana Venkatesh Perumal Temple is going to be held on January 2024. It will be on for three days. The temple staff say that this temple is over 1000 years old. They said that this place called Kottur was once called as Kottu idai konda ooru. During the repair work in the temple, people can come and worship the god in balalayam.   The chief executive of the temple is Narayani.
