This Amma Unavagam is busy some days, dull some days

 

The Amma Unavagam in Whannels Road,Egmore caters of the poor, daily-wage labourers and others.

Staffer Ramani said  that seven people are working under a supervisor.

The Unavagam provides breakfast, lunch and dinner.

In the morning, they sell pongal and idly-sambhar.  In the afternoon, there is lemon rice and curry-leaves rice. In the late evening, for dinner, they sell chappathi and dal.

Sometimes, many people eat here but sometimes the number is small.

The staff said there are some problems like need for better cooking utensils. They say they have told their seniors about it.
