This hawker sells variety of keerai

 



J. Shanthi sells keerai on the roadside at Rajiv Nagar, Okkiyam Thuraipakkam.


She sells arai keerai, siru kerrai, paruppu keerai, ponnanganni keerai, manathakkali keerai and pulicha keerai.


One bunch of keerai sells at Rs.20 or Rs.30.


Many people buy the keerai since it is fresh spinach. This hawker is here from 4 pm to 10pm.

Kumbhabhishekam of Kottur temple in January 2024.

  The kumbhabhishekam of Kottur Prasana Venkatesh Perumal Temple is going to be held on January 2024. It will be on for three days. The temple staff say that this temple is over 1000 years old. They said that this place called Kottur was once called as Kottu idai konda ooru. During the repair work in the temple, people can come and worship the god in balalayam.   The chief executive of the temple is Narayani.
